The members spoke and we have listened! SI will be adding two new roaming lands for horses to post in, and we are holding a competition for those lands.
Members may submit as many entries as they like. Submit a thorough description(picture optional), and a name and in one week's time I will select the two winners.
The winners each receive 15k Moolah.
CLOSED.

I'll give it a go, although I'm kinda crappy at descriptions xD
Asca Desert (Old High German "ash"), Phlegein Desert (greek "to burn, scorch"), Bhel Desert (Root word "to shine, flash, burn")
A scar on the isle that cuts through like a gaping wound. What was once a flourishing sea of fauna has been turned to ash years ago by a long dormant volcano. The land has dried up and withered away into blackened sand and smoke that shrouds the land in an eerie monochrome veil. The only color that remains is that of fire, plumes rise from cracks long hidden by sands, and lava slithers underneath, openings in the volcano's shell revealing its arduous march. Dark glass forms near where lava has broken the surface, leaving amorphous etchings of its previous paths in the sands. The volcano stands impressively on the otherwise flat landscape, its form shrouded in the smoke as a looming mysterious figure. Little vegetation survives in this barren land, only charred skeletons of bushes and trees seem to remain. Lizards and other small creatures skitter about the sandy surface, them being the few who can call this place home. The volcano has been relatively calm, but no one can be sure when it will erupt next.

Eee I'll recycle places from my other site:
SHADOWMIRE Many a horse has lost their life in this forsaken place. The murky waters are poison, and pits of sucking mud claim careless travelers. Skeletons of these unfortunates are scattered beneath the gray-green mist; it is rumored that their souls still linger in the silence.
RED MEADOW An area of plains choked with crimson poppies, so thick in some places that the ground looks carpeted in red. The only time the flowers do not bloom is in the harshest of winters - otherwise it is perpetually lush here.
ICEFIELD This part of the island is coated in a thick layer of snow and ice. There are natural rock paths and platforms lining its surface so that horses can trod here, but the slippery terrain can still be quite dangerous. Heavier horses are usually more comfortable here, as the hotbloods often find it too chilly for their liking.

Wil'o'wisp Marsh: This watery region is inhabited by ghostly lights that appear at random times during the night. Trees grow directly out of the water and their wide branches create a canopy above those who visit. At night, a chorus of insect song will amaze any who wander here. During the day, it is strangely quiet, but though they are not heard, there are a myriad of creatures that call this place home; marsh birds, lizards, and other creatures more dangerous.
Apparition Crater: Once upon a time, a grand forest existed here. Now, all that remain are the petrified remains of the trees that once grew tall and strong, their dark forms jutting forth from the desolate landscape. In the center of the area is a deep crater. Rumor has it that at night, pale shapes are seen hovering about, though perhaps it is only the mist.

That awkward moment when I closed this and used the four posted ideas literally a few minutes before you post your entry >.>
